Another 71 GTX purchased....
« on: March 16, 2006 - 10:49:52 PM »
I purchased this car here in Fairbanks for $1400.00. It was originally a 440 auto car. It has a air grabber hood and a 18 spline 4 speed. I havent had a chance to look to see what else is on it, but will check it out at a later date. No motor though....

The sheetmetal is not bad on this one....not a clue about the rear end, I will find out tomorrow when I get it put on the rollback to get it hauled out of its current home, and trucked to its new home.... Those were the best pics that I could get....I didnt want to be out too long in the cold with the camera....the former owner told me that he was kicking in a set of 906 heads to boot with the car and offered me some race parts to go along with it....I already crammed the trunk with parts as well as the interior....~DANGNABBIT~!

He's got a 69 RoadRunner that is set up for DragRacing....Rollbar, Tubbed, Blower, etc.....BIG DOLLAR CAR! He blew the tranny, and he is letting it set outside. This car was built by a builder that had ties to some of the big car magazines....the car was supposedly in one of the magazines in the early 90's....he paid 25K for it and I, too was wondering if he would take, oh lets say 15K for it right now....ya never know! He says he's planning on fixing it....he may also have some others floating around....whatcha wantin??

There used to be a nice page called the bird's nest, but i don't think it's around anymore. The Dodge Forum guys have a chat board for roadrunners and chargers, but it gets very little use. here is a page with some pics.

:22yikes:  Like what others floating around? You got my attention with the Roadrunner, can't afford to pay attention at the moment but it doesn't hurt to dream about all the ones that are getting away.  :grinyes:
