I am not sure about the Mopars. The RoadRunner is the only one sitting on the property by his house. He said that he has property elsewhere with more cars to boot, but I aint seen it yet. Why are you intent on punishing yourself?? Shipping alone is more than I paid for the GTX, at least to the midwest!

This is about like looking at a dirty magazine, just gets the ole adrenaline going!! Fun to see what's out there even if I can't have them all. I keep my head turning whilst driving down the road a few thousand miles a month. I've posted a few of the finds here but haven't posted any lately. Still a few out there, mostly A bodies though. Nothing wrong with A bodies, just more plentiful right now. Maybe we need to start a new thread about those cars in barns or behind houses, or fences or weeds ect. Who knows, maybe someone will get lucky! :grinyes:

come to think of it, he did tell me that he though that he did have some 68-69 barracudas....he doesnt know what style of cars they are though....or if they are even still around....He's a wheeler and dealer, and I dont put too much creedence into what he says, unless I see it for myself.

Come on up Krazed....I have a lot of work that has to be done before I leave here....U allergic to painting?? HEHEHE
Both, my 318 Barracuda and the GTX are on the truck and heading down the highway out of Alaska, they should be in Michigan by Wed-Thurs....one or two more to go....What a d**n pain, especially since the temps this am were slightly below zero! One rear wheel on the Cuda was being uncooperative at that temp....did not want to roll and thats weird as the rear end doesn't have it's gear set in it. Hopefully, it was just frozen or the brakes were hangin up....gonna look into it when I get a chance....what a pain trying to get it loaded on the truck!

Hey there Lemon! Havent seen you in a while...

And now, I see that when I let you out of my sights you run off and spend all your money.  :roflsmiley:

Good find man! Especially in Fairbanks. Guess this means I'll have to come visit you some time this summer huh?

Very nice. Congrats on the purchase.

Thanx POC....the car alone is worth what I paid. The hood and 4 speed are big time bonus in my eyes....

I agree not to mention that 71 GTXs are far and few between.

Lemon_Twist, it's good to see you're still collecting some vintage iron in Alaska before you make the final trip back to Michigan.  I'll definitely have to meet up with you sometime this winter to check out those cars and talk about MoPars.  Oh, a neighbor of mine is looking for a '69 Charger project to restore...Know of any in the area? :dunno:

My cars made the trip to Michigan. The truck arrived on Wednesday....The good, rust free Challenger trunk lid that I HAD, was damaged by the Cuda as the lid was placed under the car. The car must have been bouncing on it like a little kid on a bed.... >:(  The spare Cuda roof made the trip without a hitch.... :clapping:

SC_73, I did some thinking and seem to recall where a 69 Charger is sitting....I will scope it out on my next visit to town.
