My 71 300 has the same relay. The C-bodies at least to 73 use the same thing. It mounts behind the dash, next to the ashtray, and has a screw going through the very bottom of the dash, into the bracket on the relay.

The number for the relay and bracket is 2983 828. They list the same part number for C-bodies

The 71 B-body has a different number: 3513 565.

Section 8-37-70, in case you're interested.

I have 69, 70/71, and 79 parts books.

yeah, What in particular are you looking for?

There's 106 pages of Cordoba wiring diagram in the service manual.

I think the low fuel warning light is part of the gauge on a 79 Cordoba. But I'll look at the manual.

Do you need any parts for a 79 Cordoba? I'm parting out my old beater. I saved a lot of the parts for my 79 300 project car, but there are still some things on it.

You have mail.

My old 79 is going to the crusher in a week or two. I've taken everything that i think anyone might want, but it's still got a few parts.

??? Isn't it just a little LED in the gauge, next to the "E"  ???

It's not mentioned because it's just part of the guage. if it were another wire, it would show up on the instrument cluster gang connector.

yes, but something has to trigger it to turn on, that is usually a relay or some electronic circuit.

since the gauge uses resistance- about 10 ohm's full and about 75 ohm's empty.

thanks
