Video Game
« on: March 18, 2006 - 01:59:19 PM »
There is a company here that produces video games. They are going to update one of their games called "Need for Speed". The plans are to have a Cuda, a 69 Charger and a Challenger in the game. You will be able to select your ride and as I understand build it as well, engine color etc.

They already have the Charger and Cuda. I was contacted by them to see if I would be interested in allowing them to take pictures of my Challenger so they can use it for thier game template. I just got back from the picture shoot of my car. They took about 300 pictures lots of details. They will burn a cd copy of their pictures for me. If I can remember to remind them they will send me a copy of the game in November when it is released.

Another piece of history for the car.

Keuwl!!!  :bananasmi I hunt for games with Challenger's in them....
There is another series of the game "Driver" coming out....has what looks to be a red 70 Challenger with shaker on it.  When I say "looks" I mean they do do them exactly correct due to copyright or something..... :bigshades:

The best game in the world IMO....just driving, bad ar$e smokies....V8 sound, Cops.... :ylsuper:

IMO burnout 3 is the best game in the world...

Heaps of different tracks, cops, crashes, cars (theres even a muscle car class) music (bands like The Ramones and Feeder) as well as several different kinds of races

Pursuit: your a cop chasing a car, and you gotta slam into it till it breaks down
Road Rage: send your car into a crowded intersection to do as much damage as you can.
Racing: street racing, you get boosts by driving on the wrong side of the road, hitting other racers and having near misses with other cars and trucks.

I missed a few others...

Bloody marvelous game

NZ that game is Driver: Parallel Lines. Gamespot gave the X-Box version a rating of 6.5 saying it was a direct knock off of GTA III. It also has a car that looks like a 71 Road Runner from what I have seen in the previews. If you guys want to drive an E-Body Gran Theft Auto San Andreas for the PC is good because you can mod the cars and a few other things in the game. Here's some pictures of those cars and other for the game.

71 Chrysler New Yorker:

70 Dodge Super Bee:

69 Charger Daytona:

70 Challenger T/A:

85 Dodge Diplomat:

Ram Pickup:

70 AAR Cuda:

Rusted 70 Cuda Convertible:

70 Plymouth Superbird:

70 Challenger R/T with aftermarket wheels:

79 Volare Station Wagon:

Another 70 Challenger R/T:

Ram SRT-10:

GTA-III sounds good, if you can get the photos to work that would be good.
What is the driving like? I played one addition and I thought it was crap, blocks on wheels, poor V8 sound (if any).
Also, the burnouts were poor....X-Box? Ha, Driver the original game came out before the GTA series.

Driver - Parallel lines is the 4th addition. I loved the last 3.
I never go by what game magazines or reviews say, they all vary and it's usually 2 or 3 tubby lards making the call.... I'll find out for myself and give my own opinion.  :smokin:

Those graphics to me are primitive. For good graphics and a Challenger/Cuda Forza motorsport is the way to go....the best MoPar driving game on earth IMO....see for yourself.

That looks nice NZ. Yeah, I still may buy it if they release a demo for me to test of Driver. They also have a 72 Buick Riveria in that one. Anyways, I think this link should work. Here's a link to it.

NZ those cars I posted pics of won't work in X-Box. You have to have the PC Version. But, the car list is the same you just replace the model and textures. Those pics are from GTA: San Andreas.

No, it won't have them. Buy the PC Version if you think your PC can handle it and then you have download another program. Then you have to download the cars from this site:

Hopefully, that makes sense.
