Thanks guys! The first show was a cruise night and it was judged by judges. This second show was done by ballot. Everyone at the show chose their favorite according to class. I was amazed, as I spent alot of the day looking at some very nice competition; GTO's, Camaro's and Chevelles, not to mention some pristine Corvettes. Apparently they liked my car too.
Little secret- my throttle cable had broken a week or so before the show, I replaced it with what was supposed to be a correct cable for a 71 383 E body (it was a different legnth
). I got it to work well enough to get me to the show, but I only have about 1/4 of the range of movement on the gas pedal
, so I had to baby it there and back
. Of course no one could tell that while it was parked there
