Very cool....your wife is very lucky. I would mind a stock Jeep in Black with a HEMI.
Not into 4x4's with body-kits myself...defeats the purpose.

Looks good in silver.

Think not of this as an off road vehicle but an onroad all-wheel drive performance utility machine that makes our beloved muscle cars look sick  :worshippy

LOL!! Didn't know 4x4 meant 160mph. I guess it's how you drive 'em...up cliffs and through rivers.
Jeep means off road to me JS27....it's their heritage. Magnum, that's a performance machine with room for luggage.

Love the rear end on that beast Daytona.

these may be the first Jeeps ever made that ARE NOT "trail rated"....AWD makes it extremely quick off the line, and as we don't have many mountains or cliffs here in Indiana the 4wd isn't much of a factor for me...it was just purchased for the performance factor, although I may have to purchase my own oil well now :roflsmiley:

AWD...ah ha! all makes sense now...that would be a quick launch with it's low down torque.  :bananasmi
What's the transmission like? Shift quick?

shifts hard, just like it ought to....5spd auto.....you can also shift it manually like the Prowlers/300s.....better just to let it do it's own thing...it is far more efficient than a human....its only 2 weeks old and I have only put a few (hard) miles on it so far, my wife takes it on her job daily....

I love the SRT-8s. The AWD is simply amazing and I love that you can achieve an amazing 0-60 in the rain. The only part I dont like is that you cant light up the tires at will  :grinno:

it was a surprise....she had mentioned she liked the new silver Jeeps, the SRT8 Jeep is only available in black(too lazy for that), Inferno Red(current Jeep was that color), or silver......so I ordered her a silver one, she had no clue it was ordered till it rolled off the transporter late on a Saturday nite.... she saw a buddy of mine and myself standing beside the new Jeep talking to the driver of the car carrier and she pulled in to the dealer to see what we were doing there so late....she thought the new Challengers were coming in already and she knew I had dibs on one of those...but she found out it was hers before we had it delivered...
