As you can see, my 340 engine bay is a work in progress. The ignition system needs a coil, lots of wiring to be done, and the cooling and fuel systems have yet to be attached.

This is my 543 stroker. I finally got it installed in my Challenger and running after removing the old 440 and having engine bay painted. I replaced a lot of the under-the-hood wiring as well. The motor is quite nasty and made over 600 HP on the dyno with 651 ft/lbs of torque. As you can see, I still need to make up some clips and hook up the kickdown linkage ect. It looks 150% better than that old rattle can black paint!! I know one thing; at least for me, doing an engine swap by yourself isn't easy and I was a little rusty on a complete changeout as I hadn't done one in over 20 years. I had a lot of headaches to work thru (had to notch out the K-frame for the external oiling sys), but it runs now like mad hornet!! Let's burn some rubber now!! :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:
