Brake pedal question
« on: March 19, 2006 - 08:53:00 PM »
Is the brake pedal position in the photo normal?  :dunno:The brake pedal is 3" higher then the gas pedal. It doesn't seem normal, but again I have never been in another Challenger. It's been like this since I put the car together years ago. I don't remember if it was that way before I took it apart.

I don't know if it's right or wrong, but mine is about the same distance.

I just measured mine. It's pretty much in the same place. With my size 14 feet, it pretty much doesn't matter where it is, cause I'll find it.  If it bothers you that high, maybe there is an adjustment you can make.  :dunno:

It's just that every other car I have owned I pretty much just rotated the heel of my foot onto the brake pedal. If I do this in the Challenger my foot would be behind the pedal. Could make a difference in an emergency braking situation. I have looked and have not found any obvious adjustments. It sounds like it's normal for these cars so I'm not going to worry about it. If it weren't normal I would look into it further. Thanks
