replacing lower ball joint in '70
« on: March 19, 2006 - 09:11:36 PM »
Was putting in new front wheel bearings today and noticed a lot of slop in the DriverSide.  Came from the ball joint primarily.

Whats involved in putting in a new lower ball joint ?

it is easy 2 large bolts through the spindle behind the brake rotor split the tie rod end off & split the joint out of the lower control arm , you do not even need to undo the T bar adjuster as long as you jack under the lower control arm
