We got nailed by snow
« on: March 21, 2006 - 12:39:20 PM »
19 inches, officially.  Took a tape measure, and we came up with 16 inches.  Still, alot of snow, and it's all wet, heavy crap.

Worked for an hour just to clear the snow around my car.

Me, standing on top of the drift next to my car.  The snow was that heavy, it supported my weight.

This guy tried to do a good deed and help us clear the end of our driveway, but got himself stuck, and had to be pulled out by a grader.  I snapped a picture while he was waiting for the grader to show up.

Wow, glad that the snow is over here in the NE.  You do know that yesterday was the 1st day of spring, go tell your weathermen that.

Man, I could definately not live in that stuff.  Here in Atlanta, spring has sprung.  Forsythia, Redbuds and azaleas are all blooming.  Time to start taking my Claritin again.

Wow Ghost,

The only thing that's good for is a snowball fight or building snowmen. The Bradford pear trees and dafodils are blooming here in Maryland, but I'm still waiting on the heat to arrive. It's 41 right now.  :'(

We had about 4 inches here in Oskaloosa, Ia. A lot of it melted today after it quit snowing after noon today. I couldn't get my garage footings poured today because the concrete office wouldn't let their $100,000. trucks out on the streets with the snow. We'll shoot for thursday. :grinyes:

Sounds like Rev is the only one so far having a sign of Spring. Our first day of spring was filled with wind, rain, sun, hale, cold and not so cold... all in a couple of hours time.  :eek4:
