Altenator code from broad cast sheet... 78?
« on: March 22, 2006 - 04:51:56 PM »
Is the broad cast sheet code under altenator "78" a 50 Amp?  And is the best place to get one from Year One?

One more question... do I go with the dual pully if I have (I should say "did have") AC and plan to hook it up again?

THANKS GUYS!

3438178 - If you don't have one you will need to find one used and then get it rebuilt.   Yes, the 178 was a dual groove pulley alternator.
