where did you find the motor and what is the easiest way to tell a 2 speed from a three speed ?
the 2 spd has a resistor for speed controll the 3 spd does not

Ok, I did another test. At the switch PInk is always live. In Park position Pink(B) and Blue(P) are live, low speed pink(B) and brown/white(A) are live, high speed - pink(B) and Brown(W) are live.

At my motor however, I have red, green, blue, and 3 brown wires. One to the connector and one to each resistor terminal. On low speed there is power to every terminal, on high speed there is power to none. F2 on my switch never has power in any position.

I'm guessing you have the wrong switch, but with that said if you have all that power on low speed why aint' it runnin?  :eek7: We really need someone with working two speed motor to chime in here. Which wires should have power on low? Which on high?

Have you been able to determine that the motor is good? Not just a switch/wiring issue?

Yup motor is good, I tested it using the procedures pictured on the first page for concealed wiper arms. Workd fine high and low speed. There shouldnt' be power to ever single wire on the motor on low speed, and none on high speed though. Especially when at the switch there is power to a different wire at every position. Sounds like a wiring problem to me, but until I know what is suposed to have power when, I'm kinda stuck.

I would think you could disconnect all but the red one & at least get it to work on high with swith in low position. If that worked add wires one at a time till problem shows, but there is still the issue of why no power on high.  :clueless: If that is the correct diagram it has to be the wrong switch, ie missing F1

Dave,
I asked you before if you had that panel grounded and you said "YES".  The switch is mounted to the metal panel and should be grounded while testing.
Here are the voltages: USING A TEST LIGHT
1. Park/off,  BLUE and PINK are HOT, RED is DIM.
2. Low Speed, PINK and BROWN/WH are HOT, RED glows a little BRIGHTER THAN DIM when flipped on.
3. High Speed, PINK and BROWN/WH are HOT, RED glows at full brightness. same as Pink and Brown/wh.

I don't see a red wire in your pics,  Follow my pics and you should be good to go.
***********DON'T FORGET TO ALWAYS PUT IN THE LOWER LEFT SCREW ON THE SWITCH PANEL!****

Like you posted above is correct: 1, You don't use a "W" on the switch, although the brown wire is there. 2,The Green wire is never hot.(could be ground)

You need to find the RED wire for F1. Put the BROWN wire into W even though it isn't used.
Tell me if you need the pinouts for the motor and/or the bulkhead connector as I have those but will have to draw them.

Rob, thanks a lot. I don't have a red wire which is a start. If you could tell me what has power at the motor at each position I would be set. I think I have a huge wiring problem as I went to the car and now I have power to nothing except for the starter.

Thanks Rob.

Dave,  Follow this circuit. If you don't have a red wire, see what that 4th wire is on the connector and use it as a red wire.  Use the circuit diagram you already have and my drawing.  I can't make it any more simple than this.

I don't have time to measure voltages for 2 weeks. I'm getting a Cuda running for a guy tonight. Then using the entire Memorial day weekend to put another 440 into my Challenger for the Power Tour in 6 Days.

Just looking at it you can tell that brown is low and red is high, and blue is park.
If you can't figure it out with my diagram and the 4 wires to the motor, you better find someone there that can.
Remember to ground your switch.

Thanks again Shelbydogg, looks like you have the same switch I have and our wire colors are different but I think from all the info we will get it figured out. I just have to find out why there is no power to anywhere in the car now. Once I figure that out it should be straight forward. Great diagram and thanks for all the info and help.

Last question before I head back out, You mention I need to find the red wire for F1. Your switch looks exactly like mine and there is no F1 on it. Just P,A,B,W and F2. On your switch diagram you have the red coming out of f1, is that really "w"? If so I should easily be able to trace everything and see where the wiring is wrong.

Dave, this is the picture that you sent me.   Look at your picture, then look at mine.  F1 is F1. You have the brown wire in F1 but it belongs in W.  (even though W doesn't have a terminal on the switch).  In the same pic, there is a red wire in the background. Where does it go?

Where is your GREEN F2?

Where is your GREEN F2?

Second pic is the fusible link, Check it first to see if you have power at both ends.

Sorry for the confusion with the picture. The F1 I have marked on my connector has the brown wire in it because that lines up with W on my switch. The W connector doesn't actually lign up with anything on my switch. I pulled it out and put it there for that reason cuz I got that connector a couple days ago.

The red wire is tied into my headlight circuit and was spliced in and going to my kick panel for who knows what.

I don't have a red or green F2 wire. I only have pink, brown, brown/white and blue.

It may be easier to hook up a couple strings and a pulley system or not drive in the rain.   :banghead:

Why don't you just add them?  Use 2 jumper wires if you have to.

Sorry 1BADFISH,   I can't help anymore besides having you fly me out there and fix it myself. Get somebody out there that can look at my drawing and hook it up for you.

Good luck,
Rob
