I understand what they are trying to do. Bring back street or grudge racing as it was years ago. However, how would you like to lose your car because baldy drops his hands and didn't see your opponent leave before they were down??? They need to run off a tree to be totally fair. I don't care if they run heads up or have a spot. They still need to run off a tree and if you RED light, you lose. Just my  worth.

The "negotiations" are hard to watch as there is alot of lieing and BSing.  That's not what racing is about.

  there have been a couple races with questionable starts and the hand held video cameras aren`t enough to decide it.If you used the tree you could only negotiate seconds not lenghts and not use a staggered start.
I still don`t hear anybody willing to race heads up for pink slips here?

If I was gonna race for actual pinkslips, I'd sure wouldn't be out there in the 3800-pound Cuda ragtop!  I'd bring an 1800-pound, 190hp Lotus Elise with a 100 shot, no pass seat, and half the body panels taken off.  And, instead of a steering wheel, I'd use a pair of vise-grips on the column splines, and I'd drive naked, wearing only a helmet. 

Clothes cost weight, and weight costs time!

ok, first off, somebody hand me the Ebonics-to-English dictionary so I can understand what the EFF Justin just said.

Second, I appreciate that lengths are there to make things fair, but the street isn't a fair place.  And if Pinks is trying to bring back street racing, there cannot be room for compromise.  If you go to war, and the other guy has better weapons, you can't ask them to sit out some of their soldiers!!  The idea is..you know you're racing to win, so bring the BADDEST street machine you can build, borrow or steal, and if it isn't enough, lesson learned!  ok, I would NEVER race my car for title, but I'm not on the show!

my challenger has a 150 mph speedo in it and I have had it to 140 mph!! never raced for pinks but I would race anything that wasn't affraid to line me!! bacause I was a woman!! lol( and there was a few men that wouldn't!!)and if you won    and if you lost well better luck next time! right?

Back in the day, when I did a fair bit of street racing, no one ever, ever, ever asked for lengths.  You'd rather get caught looking at another guys Johnson. 

I still like the idea of them getting 20 or so cars there and letting them pair up.  Head's up, X-mas tree.
