I searched ALKALINE STRIPPING IN PA and came up with a few. Just make sure its akaline and not acid. you will then need to rust coat it. I am using e - coating.

Use this link to find commercial businesses in the US that can do what you need. This one is for electrocoating.

I know where you are talking about . . . down by Metro Airport, but I don't know the place.  :clueless:  I will ask some of my friends if they know of it.   :grinyes:

Thanks 4C I heard these guys will do both the Akaline dip and the E-Coating at the same place. That will save me having it dipped in Toledo and hauling it down to Norwalk Ohio to get E-coated. Thought it was great there on E corse Road

If you don't mind me asking, what made you get it dipped rather than media blasted?

If you don't mind me asking, what made you get it dipped rather than media blasted?

The dipping was fairly reasonable about $80.00 for the trunk and it allowed me to get into ever little spot on the lid. I could hear loose rust inside the lid and I new I would never be able to get that all out with blasting. It also gives be a very clean smooth surface to work with with no possible damage to the metal.
Because the lid came out so nice I will do the entire car this way. I will than know that every bit of rust has been removed, what I can and cannot see. For about $1500.00 I can have the whole car dipped and for another $1500.00 I can have the whole car E-Coated ,lids, doors, hood, and body which will be by far the best rust prevention. Just like the new cars today.
\Just by dipping it.
