Best way to remove chrome trim??

Anyone have a trick to removing chrome trim pieces?

Sill moldings and tailpanel moldings, the ones that are held on with the H clips or whatever they are called, by the way what are they called and anyone know what to ask for when ordering? I know Mr. G's must have them. Thanks!
