    T/A hood weight compared to steel hood...

    I need to know the actual weight of a T/A hood as compared to the steel deck hood that went on Challeners. Anyone know? Patrick

    not sure of the weight differance but it is lighter and you need to remove your hood springs or use ta hood springs or your hood will break

    Steel is around 70-80 lbs and fiberglass is around 25-35 lbs
