Sorry... I don't know about the wheels, but nice car!
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

What's the backspacing? Do you mean 295/50/15's?
If the backspacings 4" or 4.5" they should fit. If your leaf springs are real saggy you might want to replace them though.
I have 295/50/15's on mine and I love the look, very meaty.

What's the specs on the 295/60/R15's? Not sure if that one will fit. I thought you ment 295/50/15's, Man that's got to be a tall tire.

275/60/15 on 8" ralleys, 4.5 backspacing, no rubbing, no jacked up look.
BFGoodrich doesn't show a 295/60/15 so here are the specs on a 295/50/15 compared to my 275/60/15. My tires are close at the inner fender to side wall, but don't rub.

275/60/15
Tread Width (in): 8.90 in.
Tire Diameter (in): 28.00 in.
Section Width (in): 11.00 in.
Recommended Rim Width: 7.5-9.5 in.

295/50/15
Tread Width (in): 9.50 in.
Tire Diameter (in): 26.70 in.
Section Width (in): 12.20 in.
Recommended Rim Width: 8-10 in

That wider section width will get you into trouble.
I have a feeling that you wont be happy with the size that you want. So get my size and you'll thank me later.

The most I've been able to jam into my car is 275/60/15. Just fits. Had to trin the inner lip of the quarter panel.

We've talked about this on other threads and there is a lot of discussion on this subject. First off, I wouldn't want to start cutting metal to get my tires to fit unless I was tubbing it or something. A little trimming doesn't hurt I guess but if it's a numbers car, I wouldn't do it. Here's a good recipe if you want the most room with no fear of rubbing.

295 is too wide for 8x15 rims. I think 255/60/15 is just perfect but if you like a "fat" look go for 275/60/15.

275/60/15 is a great tyre IMO sits well and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb....as much as a 295.

Thanks MrBill426,  here are the side and a rear pic showing the tread, stance and wheelwell clearance.  If you look ar the trim-ring shot, you can see the gap that a 7" trim ring shows when you put it on an 8" wheel. I wish someone made a polished trim ring fon an 8" ralley.

They come close but remember, the side wall never bulges on the portion closes to the spring, so it will never rub.

That looks great! Not trying to hyjack this thread but since it's on the subject. Anyone have any experience on this same subject for a B body? They sure look to have a lot of room but don't know exactly what will fit for sure. I'd like to put a set of MT DOT slicks on it but not sure what size I can stuff under there. Here's a picture of the BFG 295/50/15's. The taller and wider the better. I'd be willing to go to the offset hangers if needed.
Thanks P6P
