Updated Cuda Pics, what I have been up to the past month
« on: March 25, 2006 - 07:34:26 PM »
Here are a few before and after pics of what I have been doing for the past month. Also as an added bonus, a few pics of my new white face gauge kit and Equus gauges.  P.S., don't look at the ugly carpet, I installed it wrong and I am putting in a new carpet next week. What do ya think?

I sure like the white gauges and the engine bay looks way better.  Big improvement.

Very nice work, BarryBum!!!  That engine bay looks so much better all cleaned up.  Those white face gauges look very nice, too.

Barry, I"m gonna be doing that this summer/fall. My motor is blue now and should be orange. The rest of the engine bay needs to be cleaned up and i'm getting new valve covers and a 6-pack style air cleaner. What did you replace, and what did you refinish?, your alternator looks new. Also, did you strip the engine bay and take it to get it painted or did you just clean it up good? I also have a 4-spd and would like to do it in my garage, but wondering if I need a hoist to get the motor back in.

Dave

BTW, anyone know the process to paint a fiberglass 6-pack repo air cleaner, can I do it with a can of paint and a can of clear, or do I have to get it done professionally?
