    got the challenger on the dolley and started to take it apart.when i pulled the headliner i found signs of another color.then i saw why, someone tried to reskin the roof and really did a hack job.The photos will show all what i mean.This means i will be looking for some more parts so if you view this and have some or all the parts to cure this mess please let me know.----the moparclown

    That is why If I can not do it, then I'll try to find some one that can do it right the first time then I or someone esle does not have to go back and redo my work, if you want to do it yourself then read up on it  and then go get a Ford or a Chev or  a Ricer and try it out on it first and see how you did  then you can try it out on your after if you like what you did

    Moparclown, I'm real sorry to see that, My car had some real Redneck hackjob done to it to, it pisses me off! The good thing is that finaly someone with some brains are gonna fix it up and save it.

    thanks guys it amazes me what you can find in an old car.this is just a bump in the road nothing to major i will locate the parts i need and repair it with pride.a guy i know stopped by and saw the challenger and said to me( so you wanted an e-body) and i said your damn right.

    Been there, done that MC

    I bought a '73 'CUDA years agon for $2,900 but it turned out to be 3 different cars welded together with tons of bondo and bad stick welding. 

    I don't think I would fall for that now a days but maybe I would. I am more carefull these days.
