A little more progress
« on: March 26, 2006 - 05:52:03 PM »
I've seen a lot of work getting done around here the past few weeks and months. Some of you have given me some great motivation seeing what you have accomplished. I'm finally getting something done on mine. First pic is when I got her home then a picture timeline of the work from there. Lots of stuff in between though that isn't shown here. Frame rails all fabbed up and installed, floor pans and underside to the rear springs all cleaned up primed and undersealed, K frame and suspension back in place and re painted. When the new goodies get here, the engine and trans go in. Hoping to be able to at least fire it up by mid May. It won't be drivable yet but it'll be nice to be able to fire it up once in a while to keep the engine fresh and ready for when it is done. Got a lot to do yet but progress is encouraging!

Thanks for your kindness, it's not as good as many but it's good for an amature painter!
WSM, the 500 stroker is going in between the shock towers.
I've had that engine for almost 2 years now.

:clapping:  :grinyes:  Come on down!   :working:  I'll put you to work! I can use all the get I can help. Thanks TC, that really would be a blast.

Hey MEK those dogs do help, let's see, they helped me not be able to afford my GV unit, my pulleys, my wheels, my etc. etc. J/K I'd rather have them than any of that stuff any ole day of the week. Can't remember the last time my car hopped up on the bed and woke me up licking my face or layed by me just to be close to me or greeted me when I got home. You can sure love your car but your car for danm sure won't ever love you back. Really want to make this sound funny, put "wife" in place of car. :grinyes:
