When they are in paint finally which seems to take forever, thats when I know I made it!

Did you ever fit those side scoops?  Hope they fit better than mine did!

Haven't got to it yet, actually I've hit the end of my rope, I've fallen off the wagon, gave in to my worst cravings, totally gave up on trying any longer. I can't go on like this any longer, you will never see this Satellite completed. It's a fact.

So I'm giving it the bird!!  Anyone got any extra Roadrunner stickers or labels?  :grinyes:
It's been coming for some time now but I finally decided I'm only fooling myself if I don't make this into what I really want, so, it's a go. Not too much to do to make it so.
Actually got started this morning.

Hey SilverChally, I ended up test fitting the side scoops, you are exactly right. They don't fit, they stick out too much, got any pics of what you ended up doing? Thanks!

Well everyone, we're back at it again finally got the paint on and also has the vinyl top on, lots to do yet but should have it on the street by this summer. It'd be done sooner but decided to go 4 speed and I'm in the middle of getting quotes for a complete package. Unless one of you have one you'd like to part with!
Sorry about the poor picture quality, the picture is before the top went on and the color even comes out wrong but it's all I have at the moment. I'll get a bunch more and update soon.

Glad to see you still have it Glen.

Any possibility you can re load old previous pictures in prior posts with an image uploader?
That way they'll stick and not go away.

Wow!  It's been a while.
There are some names on these pages I have not seen around here for years.

Can't wait to see some more pics of your sweet ride!

:eek7: Sorry Mike, forgot to reply, no that's not my shop, a friend of mine owns it. Not too from my home, about 15 minutes.
A little update, got my gauges ordered today, picture below. The difference will be black aluminum instead of the silver bezel.

:cooldancing: Finally got the bumpers back from the chrome shop, the pictures don't show how nice but they did a great job. You'd think they were gold plated considering how much it cost! I've got most everything to put it all together. Now if I can figure out what goes where, I'll get it done sometime soon!

The back up lights were pretty tough to repair, one had a good sized chunk missing in the housing. The lenses polished up nicely but needed to come up with a fix for the housing.

First I prepped the plastic and then built a mold to pour epoxy into.
Then I sanded and painted, came out much better than I expected and it's good and solid.

The damaged light, hard to tell it was broken.

That Plum Crazy looks awesome!  :2thumbs: Almost makes me wish I had painted my 'Cuda that color instead of black.  Great job on the back up light housings!  Looks like new to me.   :ylsuper:
