Just a little bit more progress, being out of town all the time is tough to get anything done. I installed the plugs and then spent a couple of hours installing a couple of plug wires last night.  :eek7:  Trying to come up with a nice way to route my 5-7 plug wires without them being too close to the headers and not stand out like a sore thumb.
:pullinghair:
After a while this is what I finally decided to do. Still need to figure out a couple of the others but this will work great for these two. It's 1/2" stainless tubing bent to fit and flared on the ends to avoid any rough edge touching the wires, then made a bracket and bolted it to the bell housing bolt.

Glen -- that looks awesome!

are the bracket and tubes insulated - or is there no cause for spark shorts

Thanks for the compliments, not much to brag about, when I get it as nice as most of the rides on this forum, then I may have some bragging rights!  :grinyes:
Shouldn't be any reason for shorts, if there is I have some pretty crummy plug wires. In the older days on equipment many manufacturers ran the plug wires through metal shielding and the wires back then were not as good as todays but the voltage wasn't as high either. You can actually buy a custom style plug wire holder setup made of aluminum that bolts to the rocker cover bolts, they are pretty fancy but expensive. The number 5-7-6 were the only ones I had to do this with. Got the others all installed today, hope to fire it up within a week or so. As you can see in the pictures, it needs a good cleaning!

Got it fired up last Sunday, it was  miles of smiles! Went out of town right after but will try to get a video posted soon. Sounds just like I thought it would, deep, loud and like a Mopar should but sounds a bit more radical than I expected.  :grinyes:
