Glen, you seem to be a natural at this bodywork stuff. Are you sure you haven't restored Mopars before?

Thanks guys, I'm not an expert by any stretch of the word but I try hard.
Here's what I did today. Installed the Flowmasters but I gotta tell ya, they don't fit the way I thought they should! You can tell by all the welds, I ended up modifying them so they'd fit the way I like them.

After a lot of butt ache  :swear: grinding and fitting,  :pullinghair: finally got the pan in,  :ylsuper: left the good parts like the shock tower and butt welded the pan in. Put seam sealer on all the joints. Still got some cleaning up to do and get some etching primer on it soon.

Thanks for the replies, as I said, I'm no expert but learn from my mistakes and at the rate I'm going I should have been a genius years ago!

Here's a little more progress from the past couple of weekends. Got the trunk pan completed, tail pipes installed to where they will end up but without the tips I want. Cleaned up and painted the rear end housing, rebuilt the differential, installed the super stock springs.

Thanks everyone, it's hard work but very satisfying when you finally see the progress. It seems like the more you get done the more you want to get done. Can't find enough time to do what I want on it mixed in with work and famiily things.
Got the differential, axles, brakes and wheels back on, pulled it outside just to see how it would sit. I like the stance, got about 2 inches of room between the fender lip and edge of the tire, could take a bit larger tire to fill in the space. Can't have any wasted space in there you know.

Just kidding, jump ahead to 2014 and see the change!!! LOL, the stance is nice!

Thanks Dave, should sit pretty nice once the right tires are on the front and the larger ones on the rear.
Received the super stock shocks, adjustable pinion snubber and 1-1/8" front sway bar today, got em installed this evening. Can't believe how stiff it is, can hardly move it up and down by hand.
Looks just about the same as the last picture with the exception of the shocks.

Thanks Rich, it's nice to see progress, once it starts it's like an addiction. It's good to be able to fire it up once in a while. Yours is sure looking good, looks like your coming along pretty good on it. It sure is good to see the work in progress, others must like your thread too, I think it's one of the largest ones on the forum.
