    1970 engine wanted

    I need a good used 383 or 440 of the 1970 vintage.  Would consider a 340 from the same year please.   I need it in NJ .. thanks...Mike
    PS:  this is for an auto shop project for the 06-07 school year.......

    I have a complete 383 out of a 70 charger build date 7/30/71 with matching 727,  I am in Southern IL.  A little far from Jersey, $600

    I saw a complete 1969 440 in the auto trader yesterday but I think it was in Indiana.  $350 bucks  :dogpile:

    I don't really need the trans.....anyone headed to Carlisle?????   does the 70 engine run, or is it a core?  thanks
