That may be your opinion, but I'll take a blue on blue car anyday! You find a nice 70 Charger or 71 Challenger or Roadrunner thats blue on blue, just drop me a line. I love the look of blue interiors.
If I had a gold/gold or brown/brown #'s match 440-6, or hemi car, you can bet it would be restored that way also. There are plenty of red/yellow/orange/purple/green cars around. It's nice to see something different once in awhile.
I agree with restoring a Hemi/Sixpack car, of course you have to paint it the original colour, that's a given. It is refreshing to see 'different' colour cars out there (getting tired of purple on white Challengers...nice combo, just overdone).
Didn't mean to offend on the blue on blue, it's just that that is my least favourite colour. Sorry! I just bought a 70 Barracuda, and yes it's blue on blue, but it won't be for long (anyone want a blue interior??). I guess it's a good thing Chrysler had a wide variety of colours. They definately had the best colours at that time! Paint it whatever colour you like. The next owner can change it, it's only paint.
