Looking at Shaker hood conversion....correct spec flat hood?
« on: April 02, 2006 - 11:51:06 PM »

I'm looking at a '70 flat hood with pentastar in very nice shape for a Shaker conversion. For a car built later in the 1970 model year, what is the correct hood spec? How can I tell if it is a correct hood for mid '70 and not an early '70 or a 1971 hood? I know the later 70's had joint marks for crash protection, anything else I should be looking for?
