Cuda Update
« on: April 03, 2006 - 05:53:37 PM »
Well, the Cuda is finally back on the street. We were having some timing issues but we got it good enough for me to be able to take it out and put some miles on it.  We think the distributor is on it's way out so a new one is on it's way.  I have to tell ya, the difference in power is ureal!  This car is going to make me want to do bad bad things!   :clapping:  :clapping:  :clapping:  I can't wait to get it running perfect.

:dunno: Well April if it's running that badly I guess ole good hearted and good natured Jim here would be willing to give ya a few bucs for it, sorry your having this bad experience with this pink lemon, I can be in New York this week end, I can't seem to find the right Demon, but I suppose a pink Cuda would do.  :roflsmiley:  :roflsmiley:  :roflsmiley:

That's awesome April!     It was a long process, but you guys got through it in great shape.  Sounds like only the few minor "bugs" to work out of it.  Every major project has em, and sounds like you conquered all of the big stuff.  Keep us posted on the distributor.  P.S. --  Be careful and don't do too many "bad, bad" things..........
Get ready to raise the tire budget for your car.     :roflsmiley:    :roflsmiley:    :roflsmiley:

Congrats on getting her back on the road, as oldschool says, every project has those little bugs to get ironed out.

Congratulations on getting the car going April. I hope I don't have to many bugs to work out when I get me Cuda on the road for the first time in 6 years. I think it will be hitting the road in a couple of weeks. Let us know how the distributor problem turns out when you get it changed.

April, great to hear that you got the car back on the road.  Once you get it all dialed in let me know what you think about the cam.  I'm considering the same cam that you put in your motor and I wanted to see how you like it.  Also if possible how about a sound clip to hear how that new motor sounds? :bananasmi

Congrats April!!!  I bet it's a blast to drive!  I've only been behind two different sixpack cars and they were both amazing when the pedal was to the floor!!!! :burnout: (especially the '70 T/A with a 4 speed!) :burnout:
