Inside hood latch

Does anyone have a pic of what the inside hood latch assem. looks like & what years did they use them. Are they the same on all E bodys?

I saw one on eBay the other day advertised for Cuda/Challenger I think it was at about $50 last time I checked. I have a hood release handle from a '70 Duster that looks the same. otherwise I dunno.

Would it happen to look like this.  I have some spare E body parts in a trade & didn't know if this latch cable fits an E body.

No, that's not it.
I have one in my Chal that I'll get a pic of.  I took it out of a later model and it has a 2 step mounting plastic that goes on the lower left corner of your dash. It didn't have the chrome handle though. Maybe that one was from a '70. Mine's from a '72.

They are different each year. I have one on my 71 and I was told it was not even available. The car has 48,000 orignal miles on it, so I'm pretty sure it is a factory item. I recently saw these pictures on another topic (another 71). Notice that this car (not mine), also has one. It is identical to mine.

I don't see the hood release in the picture.  My 73 didn't have a release, but I think it was offered.  Can you tell me where it's located in the picture, or circle it in Photoshop and repost?  Also, does anyone have a PN for it?
