Yeah, I don't believe in karma anyways...

You are having really bad luck this week, Z. Between the cuda beingg sold from under you, the injury, and the other jerk not having insurance...

I say you sue the guy for every penny he's worth, just to help vent.

Hey Z just keep your head up trust me things could be a lot worse.
On Jan 14, I was coming home from dinner and a drunk guy ran out across a state highway and I got him. I killed him. Even though the state police investigated I was found 100% not at fault I am still being sued for a wrongfull death. Two days later my best friend since fourth grade was diagnosed with a terminal disease. He is 34 and has a rare lung disease and has 3-5 years. I am going to organize a car show to help raise money for a cure, plus we are going to see if I can donate one of my lungs. Then my girlfreind and I split up a week after that.
The body shop played games with my truck and it took over two months to get it back. Then coming home from work one night in the exact same spot as my accident I killed an animal.
Not trying to be a downer but If I just wanted to let you know you can get through. Just keep thinking about how awesome your car is going to look when it's done.

Wow!  I'd actually love to buy your project Steve, I've watched you do everything from scratch the right way with admiration since the day I became a member here.  If you're serious at all, please call 913-233-0188 or email to zerfetzen@yahoo.com

I'd feel terrible because I know how much work you've personally put into it.  What am I saying :))) Please call.  Thanks.

Make sure you get your back checked out, myself and a few others here know from experience that a back injury is not something to take lightly.Get an MRI if you can,it is the only way to really see what is going on in there.

Sorry to hear the bad new. I bet someone offered the Cuda seller much more money to sell it to them instead.

A good conclusion:

I have a running 74 barracuda with a rebuilt (though unbored) '68 440 in it, and a lot of good performance parts.  This one is guaranteed, because it is in my parking spot!

I bought it on ebay for $15g, live in Kansas City, and just got back from Anderson, Indiana.  Here are some pics from the ebay auction.  I know it's not a Cuda and the 74 is the least valuable, but you've just gotta drive this one :).  Here are some pics, and I'm sure that pretty soon I'll ask a billion questions :).  Good or bad, please let me know what you think.  I can see some of both in it, but am definitely 98% thrilled.  Hail the 440...

I'm glad you stuck with the whole 'CUDA thing!!   That looks good and as you probably know, I love the 74's.
