    The rarest E body part

    Well, I think now I know what the rarest E body part is. It's a manual choke bracket that bolts onto the rear carb on a 71 Carter Hemi AFB. This is what the cable bolts onto to operate the manual choke. It's so rare, I don't even have a good picture of what they look like. I'd hate to hear how much it might go for as I need one. I know that there are other super rare parts out there also. So what do you feel is the rarest part not being reproduced for a E body? Any others?

    Correct disc brake metering valves for 70-71 cars are fun to find.

    Air breather bases for 340-4, 383-4 and 426 1970-71 Challengers with the N94 ( T/A ) hood are exeptionally rare.

    Try to find a nice 70 console, or the lower left dash trim piece on a 70.  :22yikes: Those 70 only parts are few and faaar between.

    I used to have a complete street hemi intake and carbs and linkage. I don't even remember what I did with it. :eek4: That was 27 years ago. Oh, I also bought a brand new hemi short block in the crate for 800.00. :banghead: I traded the new short block for a race-ready superstock hemi.  :crying:

    The front hood trim piece for the 71 R/T. It wraps under the hood and is secured from underneath. All the others attach to the front of the hood for 70 and 71.

    Hmmm, for me, probably 1970 1/4 panel and trunk moldings before they were being reproduced.  :banghead:
    Then it would be repro parts that actually fit correctly..........
