Greetings gang, back from another Mopar trip.
Dateline: Sat April 8th, Los Angeles area, start time time 4:30am from San Diego.
Busy day started with a drive to the LA area to pick up an ebay find for Nick. He's a member here, and a friend for over 20 years. The car or wagon was an all original 64 Polara wagon.
Nice find and a true survivor; 8:30am we next drove it to the All Mopar Spring Fling (those pic in another thread.) Probably up later in the day.
At about 3:00pm we took off South for Steven's private showing of his Mopar collection.

The private showing and catered dinner, with table serves, was the highlight of the year.
It was a whos who of Mopar-fieftom, and the best Mopars collection ever assembled.

I was with 3 of my friends Chuck, John, Nick, and between us there is over 90 years of Mopar knowledge, but with all who was there it was off the chart. Anything you wanted to ask about the Dodge Challenger, well there was the guy who designed it!! He was describing things while standing by the 71, man I wish I had a tape recorder.
You didn't have to think very hard, like a time capsule, I thought it was 1971 all over again.
Or maybe it was the Corona.
I can't describe the night other than incredible, incredible, INCREDIBLE!!!! oh and the food was incredible too.
