Front and rear factory sway bars

Magnum 500's

Power front disc brakes

Factory A/c with underhood componets still there

Interior:

Buckets and console(slap stick)

Seats have no rips,console has two screws put in the lid(console lock works great)

Head liner has a small rip on the c pillar, could use a carpet set. Door panels are nice.

Very nice factory rallye dash . hard to find rallye dash pieces are all there(wiring hooked up, A/c control assembly,light bar etc)

Very nice 3 speaker dash with multiplex stereo

BODY:

I'm going to try to describe the body to the best of my ability. The body could use a set of quater skins as they are bubbling up on the lower. You might be able to get away with just the lower patch panels. The trunk has two 2x2 spots  which need a small patch . No need to replace the whole pan for this. The hood hinge area needs to have the replacement patches yearone sells for them installed.  The driver floor has a 6x6 soft spot. Front windshield is cracked!  Thats the bad. The COWL IS ROCK SOLID,as are the frame rails, doors,trunk lid, floor pans except for the area mentioned, frame rails, Nice RT hood, fenders with rallye louvers etc. This is a project car, you do need to do some minor metal work to the areas i have mentioned .Far from a rot bucket . You can drive this car and work on it as you go. I have seen a ton of people take on huge project rust buckets and then get discouraged,loose motovation and give up on it.  You can do the hood hinge areas one weekend , the trunk patches another etc on your own time while still driving it. It's a complete car that you dont have to go hunting down all those hard to find mopar e body parts.

New inline tube fuel tank with 3/8 sending unit. Fuel gauge does work. Flip top Chrysler org. fuel door,dual sport racing mirrors, fender mounted turn signals,etc

Rear valance is bent up

Final evaluation:

Yes the car needs some work. I have the missing front window trim, the alternator, and also the a/c compressor that go with the car.

The trans could use a fluid change but it does go into gear and move the car around with no problems. Some minor things under the hood like installing a bracket for the coil, routing the wires ,etc a little better, but never the less a fun project to do. A rare car ,loaded with options, a fender tag , and clear NJ title. This is an EXCELLENT START,which will be worth a lot of money when restored. An excellent father/son project,Hopefully someone will do it right and drive it like these cars were meant to be driven,not sititng in a garage collecting dust!

It looks fairly solid, as far as E bodies go. Personally, it's a non numbers matching 318 car that needs the body done. Nota  lot of work, but if you cant do it all yourself, you're looking at $10K worth of parts and body/paint, nevermind the "details", like rechroming and such. It's not a bad car, but the end reslt is not going to be worth the price to pay someone to do it. I think that's why you may not be generating the interest. If it was a 340 car, or a 70-71, you know you would have sold it for more by now. It's a fair price, just not a "deal" IMO.

That being said..You dotn want a Mustang, what would be a trade you'd be looking for?  :biggrin:

Boy I feel taken on the car that I bought.  I did spend a bit less but did drive much farther.  I'm going to say that $9500 is a deal regardless of what anyone else says.  Looks pretty good, except for the rust  :grinyes:

like a 73-74 b body?  i've got a 73 charger and a buddy of mines got a 74 runner clone I'm sure he'd trade in a beat. Both our cars are currently being prepared for paint and we could do any color you like.

How about a 70 Olds Cutlass with a 455?  I have a few crappy pics on this computer, I can get more if you are interested.  It is my hubby's car and we were talking to someone about selling it to them for 15,000.  If you like it maybe we can work someting out.
