This will be my 1st Challenger and I need some advise\help. This car is from Iowa originally and is rusty! The frame ,trunk and rear floors are in good\saveable shape. The rear glass area is perfect. The front floorboards are gone
but the surrounding area is pretty solid, the front windshield area is rusty but fixable and there is some major rust around the door hinges and hood hinges. The quarter panels and trunk extensions for the quarter panels are shot as are the front fenders. The doors are excellent. I am thinking about buying a clone rust free shell (if I can find one). Would I need a 1970-71 body or would the 1972-74 shell work also. My car is loaded with 383,727,Fact. A/C,cruise,power windows,power seat,the SE package with houndstooth seats and the overhead console and the rear defog. I want to add a tilt or tilt\tele steering wheel and a factory am-fm,rally guage package and some 15" rallye or magnum wheels. My plan is to change color to FC7 and clone it to an RT\SE.
