I'm lost.  :clueless:

Do you mean the turn signal indicators? If so, I can take a pic of mine tomorrow for you.

A marker light and a turn signal light are definetly different!!! When you said top marker light I thought you meant on the top side of the fender. :dunno:

Here are some close-ups. The originals were chrome, but someone took a few liberties here. Believe it or not, they still work!!!  :bananasmi

You could have both chrome or painted.  I have seen the painted on 70-71's and chrome on the 72-4 Challengers/ Cudas.  The chrome part is a cap that has a screw from the top.  The painted ones have a stud with a nut that bolts from underneath the fender.  Most likely no liberty was taken and they should work.  You have the factory painted one's on a nice car.

Not to hi-jack this thread or anything, but I thought the 70-71 cars had the stud with a nut mounted from the inside / bottomside  of the fender, and the 72-74 cars had the screw on the outside of the cap. Don't know about the availability of the chrome or painted caps as regards the year, though. :dunno:

my 70 has the topside turnsignal indicators.

mine are chrome, and are in a different location that what MEK is showing ?

If you measure center of mass of the indicator, Mine are 4" from the inside of the fender (centered on top of the fender) and then 13" from the front of the fender (where chrome stops and paint begins.

For those of you with 1970 Challengers and the A01 light package, what hood came on your cars originally?

Thanks,
Barry

Yup, same with the T/A hood. I have not seen an original A01 coded 1970 Challenger with the dual scoop hood or the T/A hood with the fender top lights yet.

You shouldn't they were not available with the rallye, T/A or shaker hoods, but with the the 'Cuda's they were.
