I just bought a new chevy 2500 4x4, diesle (duramax) with the new 6 speed auto and its the nicest truck I,ve ever drove. Mind you it cost more than my first house. This is the same road in both pics, one week apart.

Nice truck Kelly, I'm thinking pretty hard on one of them for my next truck, lease is up on mine in about 16mons. I love mine now, the interior and the drive, but I really want a diesel and have been impressed with the power, ride and comfort of them trucks.

did you have to get someone with a Cummins to pull you out of that first photo? :roflsmiley:

Those trucks are just too low.

I ended up with an '05 Ram 2500  with the Cummins.  Quad cab, 2 wheel drive.  Also ended up with a 24' enclosed car hauler.  Used it 2 weeks ago to bring a Mopar to Atlanta from north central Virginia.  Flawless.................

Very Nice set up OS, you followed good advice getting that!

I had a 91 Dodge Cummins pickup to Pull my race car trailer to the Denver dragstrip, when my kids were racing junior Dragsters. It could pull anything.  After racing my Daytona at Mopar Nats, Indy, Gateway, and usually parking in the grass, A rainstorm made me get this "Burban 4x4". Because you can't pull a 10,000 lb trailer out of the mud with a 2wd.  It was a custom conversion with a 454 and got about 6 MPG not towing anything!

Here's mine- '03 Hemi Ram, 2500, 4x4 Quad cab. Tows my B body with an 18 foot open trailer just fine. If I went enclosed, would probably go diesel, but for as often as I tow, couldn't justify the added expense.

You  people with Ford and Chev Do Not tow  any thing while your truck is in the Overdrive Mode you have to take it out of the Overdrive Mode or you will be Replacing the Tranmission, I just had to put  three tranmission in three difference Ford due to the fact that the owner will not take them out of the overdrive mode if you have them in Auto, Standard shift are the way to go. I haven't put any Tranmission in a Dodge has of yet, But if people don't start taken them out of that Overdrrive Mode they will be putting new tranmission in and At $2700.00 a piece not counting Labor it going to get expensive, Just a word to the wise for all you people that drive  FORD ( Found  On Roadside DUMP)

On the contrary, I always tow in OD, this is my 4th duramax with the alison trans, and I havent had any troubles at all, 3 of the trucks hauled welding rigs in them and one of them I towed a 10,000 lbs holiday trailer from Edmonton alberta to Lynchburg Tennessee and back , all in OD.  I migh have just been lucky, for a change....LOL
