Ok, Again, I am new to E-bodies.

Are the auto and 4-spd transmission mounts different?

Thank you

Tom

Yip, you may want to wait for confirmation but I'm pretty sure of it.
Wouldn't have answered otherwise.

Year One sell Trans Mounts their ads say for either a 4-Speed or Auto about the same mount.   :drunk:

While they look similar, the composition of the rubber is different.

Holy crap! LOL!! That's hard out, too technical for my tastes, is this the kind of thing Class 1 show-car judges take note of? Mine is built to Class 1 quality, just not correct..... We did it our way.

I would never had spotted that subtle difference. Thanks.

Actually the Hemi mount is readily available, did you notice the "yellow" marking?  Hemi mounts were sprayed with yellow paint.

Yip, I did see that....the HEMI one appears smaller why is that and why did they mark them with yellow?
For ease of factory installation? Yellow = HEMI etc?  :dunno: :swaying:

Carl

They are the same size, painted yellow to differentiate the two parts and they were painted ugly, not all pretty as you see them today.
