340 manifolds
« on: April 17, 2006 - 09:12:05 AM »
I am going to start looking for a set of HP 340 exhuast manifolds for my 73 barracuda.  My question is will all 340 manifolds fit my car.  I know they will all bolt up to the motor, but will A body ones fit and if so what years fit?

Check out accurateltd.com The a body ones fit, all you need is to have the correct h pipe to fit the flange. You can also find them on E-bay once in a while.

Yes I looked at their sight and the estimated cost is going to be 600.  This seems pretty steep since you can find a decent set of originals for 3-400.  So any 340 manifold from 68-73 fit an E body correct?

The originals will soon be harder and harder to find and then these will be a great reproduction item to be able to buy. I would buy a original set while you can still find them.
