Thanks Carl, if I don't do the 4spd swap this summer, I may get one. I seen another one on ebay that had a little clip on the front, not sure if it is a Harms or not.  Do you know if they are year specific? Is the 70 different from the 71+. And if my car has a 71+ console is that what I buy a shifter for?

Thanks

The one with the trigger is Jason's design. He is the one that sells all those pistol grips and handles to Hurst. Harms is the "tilt forward to shift" design, without the trigger.

The handles are different, the one you saw is a Pistolgrip727 product, it is straight up and down (no forward tilt) and has a "trigger" on the front to engage gears. The HAMRS shifter has no buttons are triggers, to engage a gear you simply give the handle a decent push down and move up/down.

HARMS grips come for either 1970 (round ball) or 1971-74 (T-Handle) styles.
The difference being the attaching rod, 70 is round while to 71-74 is rectangular shaped.

You can get different wood-grains and styles of wood, Maple, Oak etc and in various other styles.

HARMS owner, Scott is a member of this board, user name: Harms inc.

Looks real nice Mike, great photos.

Thanks

What bugs me now is my autometers hanging down under the dash. I had two and they were fine, then i bypassed the amp gauge and had to go with a volt gauge...one toooooo mannyyy down there  :sly: so now i have the matching speedo, fuel gauge, and a spare stock gauge bezel that the autometers will go up in and they will still shine green. Should be a good mix with the new gauges, still black, stock bezel and original lookin green lighting  :dogpile:
