FACTORY INSPECTION MARKS, NUMBERS Etc. (anybody have experience with this?)

I have read the Challenger/Barracuda restorer's guide, and it explains certain markings and colors, but does'nt get into too much detail about it. I want to puit them on my rear axle, differential, etc. I guess, I'm asking if there's anybody who can tell me what markings I need....are there stencils out there for them....and what kind of paint is it??? My AAR has a 8 3/4 with 3:91's and the code on my build sheet for the axle is 078. Supposedly the right side axle tube has this code stenciled in yellow....check out my reference pics so you know what I'm babbeling about.....I also see a circled X on the back o fthe differential too, made by a grease pencil or something....there's not much I have found that explains any of this... my 4-speed trans also has light blue numbers that were stenciled from the factory (789) along with a white cross....do I have to hand make these stencils or are they out there??.......the yellow one below has a big F on it???  I'm lost...(as usual)

Not to rain on anyones parade, but all the pictures posted and most on the above referenced website are someones "interpretation" of what things should look like.  For example no front sway bars, tie/strut rod were ever painted at the factory. 

The best example is to look and see how your car was done.  For every example you posted I can post an original example that is different.

The 789 is a reference to the part number 3410790.

I have a old mopar muscle somewere at home about 7 or 8 years old that goes over all the factory marks and even what paints and colors.  I will see if I can find the issue.  But the info is out there.

Rudy - like FY1RTSE says generally the rear axle assembly had:
(DD MM) or (DD-MM format) ex. 10 15 or 10-15 date code stamped on the center section (facing) bottom of left side flange
Three or four paint stripes on the bottom of the pumpkin indicating gear ratio and SG
Lft side axle tube has (DD MM) or (DD MM Letter) ex. 10 16 or 11 12 F date code located near center
Lft side axle tube has three digit part number taken from build sheet located near outer axle tube flange
Various markings on center of pumpkin ex. circle with X upside down "E" usually done w/grease pencil
Various marks located near torqued fasteners, ex. leaf spring U bolts, brake backing plate, pinion snuber bolts, etc.

Thank you, that explains a lot. I've never really talked to anybody that has done this...mostly cause I usualy dont crawl around looking under their car too long at a show. This is my first Mopar that I am restoring, so I'm glad you guys bare with me on all of my questions. The next car will be a lot easier!

There's no such thing as "correct" markings, no two rear ends left the factory identical. 
There should be your three digit code on the left axle tube, gear ratio colour code across the bottom and the rest is up for grabs.

Here are a couple more examples I found buried under years of grease and grime. Three digit yellow stencil but hard to read. No idea what the white marking or the circled symbol is.
Its a 3.91 suregrip, 489 case.
