Printer/Slotter/Diecutter Operator.  The wonderous manufacturing of corrugated containers!  (ok,ok boxes) :puke: But ya gotta have something for them to ship your Craftsman tool boxes in, and your Mercury Marine stern drives and outboards, and your Kohler sinks and faucets as well.  Those are just  a few of the companies I myself produce packaging for.

Project engineer for local transit authority here is Phila Pa.  Rail power, signals and communications are my speciality.

We are currently replacing the elevated railroad structure thru west philly, trains are in service during the week, and we do all work on the weekends replacing 2 deck sections per weekend. Each deck section is 2 pieces, averaging 80 ft long, and weighing 160,000 to 180,000 lbs. We use two 600 ton capacity cranes to lift the deck sections, going rate for these cranes is around $1K an hour plus operators. Fitting tolerance for these deck sections is 1/4 inch!

Company #1 Sell and distribute Stainless steel pumps, valves, tubing, and fittings to companies like Campbell Soup, Hunt Wesson, Smucker's and a bunch of others.
Company #2 Fabricate And Weld stainless steel special parts for the above. Manufacture speciality welding equipment. It's like every industry, competitive and cut throat. People always said "well they can't import food". Oh yes they can.

Work as a Hardware Quality Assurance engineer at a large defense contractor... mainly missiles and radars. Am a part-time call firefighter as well- would have liked to have done that full time, but engineering pays too well, as unexciting as it is by comparison.

I am the police; 29 years worth and counting. Been a K9 handler/trainer for 20 plus years. Current dog is "CUDA" and has been with me for the last 3 years. I can retire anytime I want, and am one A$$ chewing away from doing just that...........  After retirement, have no idea what I am going to do. An awful lot of excitement in what I do now and I just don't know if I can deal with pure boredom.

For the past 15 years a stay at home mom.  But now that both my kids will soon be out of the house (1 1/2 years), I'll have to find something to occupy my time (besides this board!).   :clueless:
