Twenty-eight years in the US Navy SEABEES where I was an automotive and construction equipment mechanic.  Deployed to several "exotic" places like Antarctica, Diego Garcia, Palau, Adak, AK, and so forth.  Now I am a part-time counterman at NAPA; I wanted just to deliver parts but they said I was "over qualified" (yeah right), sux to be that. 

Anyway, I've loved Mopars ever since a friend of my older sister let me borrow his (then 5-year old) '67 Hemi Belvedere, for my two week boot camp leave!     

Great to read about everyone's professions, good idea!

I'm an applications engineer (chemical) for a semiconductor equipment manufacturer. My company makes dry pumps, turbo pumps, platers, polishers, etc., for semiconductor fabs.

After ten years of service in the Air Defense community for the U.S. Army (working with missile control systems mostly), I moved on and now work for the U.S. Postal Service where I have been for the last 12 years.  I am now a Maintenance Supervisor at night making sure our customers get their mail as quickly as possible by keeping the machines that sort the mail working as efficiently as possible.

I also have a day job working on headlights.  Down here, there is a significant number of vehicles with opaque headlights, and I work for Clear Again doing my best to help the drivers of those vehicles see better at night.  (see ClearAgain.com)

No, I don't get much sleep!!!

I was an electrician for 6 years...then recently made the move the the Tech dept. of a design and manufacturing company that makes insruments that monitor power cables in Europe, Australia, NZ, South America......basically everywhere but the US and Canada.  I get to travel and see all parts of the world...pretty good move for me!!!

IT Network Engineer for a telco company. Manage 100+ servers, 2000 pcs and 100+ Wide Area networks in 4 states.

And my newest job is a full time dad with another on the way. What happened to my funds?! Not sure if it can be done or if there is such a thing but I'm trying to do my best on restoring my 73'cuda on a budget.

I can completely understand some of you that state you are still trying to find time and money to work on your car(s).

worked for 22 years as a research/quality assurance chemist for several different industries, petrochemicals, adhesives, polymer manufacturing. The late 80's/early 90's were alot of downsizing in larger corps.
My first job after HS was auto assemby at Chrysler, which is where I began to appreciate all mopars 
The company was of enormous help to me in paying for my education while maintaining my employment. 
Another reason why my next car purchase will be a mopar

Worked at a Chrysler dealer for 22 yrs, journeman technician, past master tech award winner. Last 5 yrs have been on the other side of the wall managing the service department.   There are good days and bad days, most are like kindergarten with customers and a staff of 23 to keep happy and motivated.

I own and operate a dog and cat boarding facility called Pet Pleasers.  We care for up to 70 dogs and 15 or so cats.  We fill up to capacity throughout the entire summer and every holiday or school break.  It can be hard work at times but it is very rewarding.
