1964 Fury - PAINT IS DONE!!!

I don't have the room right now to build a rotisserie but hey.... an engine hoist works just fine :) :)

Had a fun weekend working on the Fury. I got the underbody degreased, pressure washed and sand blasted.

It went pretty well...just had to be sure not to get under the car while in this state :)

man this thing looks like totalhell right now..

The end result is quite nice. It took a lot of elbow grease to remove the mung from the k member and tunnel near the tranny but it was well worth the extra effort.

Nice work, KTO.  I did something similar to what you did....Four jack stands all the way to their max height and I got underneath it with a jack on whatever end I was on just in case.

KTO,

Yep, welding up the old gas tank.  That's why women live longer than men.

Some of those pics remind me of the good old days.  We used whatever we had around to get em up off the ground and rolled around under there for hours.  Apparently there are Guardian Angels.       :angelwings:    Oldschool

KTO I'm thinking you should photo shop that first pic with you behind the drivers seat and crop out the hoist.
