I got the trunk done and all of the windows in tonight with the exception of the windshield. I was hoping to get the windshield in but I had to replace one of the wing vent windows and spent half the night monkeying around with the gasket.

Here are a couple pictures. (I need to get the body shop dust out of the interior :) )

Small improvement from start :roflsmiley: Seriously looks great   I think they take me as long to put together as doing body/paint because I'm affraid to scratch/chip them after all that hard work!  And its easy to miss little things before paint.  Big cars and lots of sanding, its very very easy to miss little things.  That and before you know it some idiot will ding it somehow and won;t be quite as bad... thats how I try and look at it!

That brings back a memory from high school...

My just got his GTX painted and was driving home from the body shop. He stopped at a gas station went inside and heard a crunch outside. A gal in a van managed to drive down the entire passenger side of the car.

How's that for timing... a total of 2 miles on the fresh paint and boom.

I don't think I've ever been more scared  :smilielol:

:2thumbs:It's looking really good. Nice work.My son's 2nd car was a 64 Fury 2dr. 1 owner car . He had it 3 days and left it drift down a hill. It hit a 1 room school house and broke a foot of the rear frame rail and caved the trunk in. :bricks1:

I've screwed up my own, my ideal car is something done nice, but not perfect... that kind of stuff happens way too easy.  My dads 69 runner back in the late 70s, just painted it, first day he drove it, no joke, then tar and chipped a road and had no chose but to drive on it.  It still has the tar/chip in the wheel wells as it sits in the garage :roflsmiley:

Here is a quick picture with the windows in and some trim on the car. (stole the wheels off the cuda just for looks :) )

It's actually starting to look like a car again.

Will do. I'm planning on putting in a lot of hours this weekend working under the hood. I will post some good stuff in a few days. For now here are some pictures of the dash and one more of the front of the car. I decided to remove the dash pad and fill the holes. I'm having troubles finding a decent pad right now. I figure I can always put one on later if I find one for a reasonable price.
