Why BF Goodrich?

The dealer at my local Discount Tire store told me that you get extra points if your car has BFG's at the car shows.

 You can most definitely tell the difference between cheap $50 tires and a good set of tires on the street.

 Good tires will give you increased traction, decreased body roll, increased wet weather handling , and shorter braking distances !

 5 feet of braking distance is the difference between a ding on your bumper and new quarters, hood, grille, radiator, etc etc.

 I think the real reason we buy them is because we love the French !  { BFGoodrich is a Michelin subsidiary]

Not BFG's, but not bad either...   I am toying with the idea of making a "Daddy?" stencil.  Then I will use white spray paint and put "Daddy?" following the word Hoosier.   It would read like this---"Hoosier Daddy?"   (Who's Yer Daddy?)

I want to run 285 or 295-50R-15. I believe the choice of tire field gets narrower for 15" rims when getting to this large size.
PS Sorry for missing you kiwi guys while I was back home. Too much going on and I just missed DLRogers as he was in Whangarei getting some work done on his car.

I actually saw that done on a dirt track car last year!!!....It was freakin' funny!!!  I should have got a pic.    I would like to see it on your car though!

I've run BFG's for the past decade on mine. 295/50-15s on the rear. Of course it took about 120 psi in the airshocks to clear those bad boys and that was with new springs.

I've grown tired of the jacked-up look and am going for the "in-the-weeds" stance, switching to Nitto 555's on 17" wheels this go-round with 275/40 rubber on the rear.  Of course, I'm rethinking the Nitto's after hearing Oldschool's idea!
