Gotta couple new things for the B'Cuda today
« on: April 19, 2006 - 09:51:31 PM »
Got some new coated headers for the b'cuda today. Took about a hour and a half to get em in. Unfortunately they are about 1 1/4" shorter at the collector side than my old ones...so i have to get the rest of the exhaust lengthened  :villagers:

before

today

the chrome alternator from the old pic is MIA, its getting some warranty work done at powermaster. Also the little solenoid thing with brake lines going to it is there  :cooldancing:

Gotta US Body driveshaft loop, justtttt incase something happens when i run slicks. Peace of mind factor for me, i dont think my teen will busta u-joint but im sure stranger things have happened  :roflsmiley:

I try to keep it clean, but the stupid amount of dust and me driving it daily kinda hinders that. Well, hows it look?  :feedback:

Looks real good, can't wait to get mine in.  Your engine bay looks naked, your firewall is devoid of wiring and such.  Then I noticed, you aren't running any heater hoses.  What else did you take off the firewall?  Do you still have the windshield wiper fluid bottle under hood.  If you filled in all those holes your engine bay would look really really clean.  :grinyes:

Yea i agree I do need to patch some holes. But as of right now, its still daily driven, i dont know how to weld, and i have no plans on pulling the motor and repainting the bay.....so it's staying like that for a bit  not necessarily by choice but for now thats where im at.

Heater hoses are gone - threaded plugs
Washer bottle is gone
ballast
voltage regulator has been moved
ecu is gone
starter relay has been moved
all the wiring is now in the fenderwells
battery is in the trunk
coolant catch can is next to the radiator

i think thats about it, so yea...for now it has a few wholes in the firewall from where all that stuff used to be..not much i can do about it now  :sadwavey: someday when i stop driving it daily, pull the motor, learn how to weld, and get everything else ready to repaint the engine bay....thats something on my list to fix   :bricks1::icon16: the day i do repaint the bay and weld all those holes up...it will look MUCH better im sure
