well mine are different from what all you have.

5.7 hemi conversion using 2 1/2" TTI 's headers with ' H ' pipe cross over
for easy tear down's in case of -

had to cut the collectors so the H could get close enough and mount up
to the headers.
the way it all lines up thru the rear is about all Ill get with my fit with the
tips, shocks, rear end, hangers ect.
sence Im mounted up now - once lowered back to the ground and on the road I
will recheck it.

The angled collectors will get the pipes up but your headers will be the lowest point on the exhaust.  How about a pic of the motor?

Nice. I'm fuel injecting a 340 for my cuda but would rather put in a fuel injected hemi like yours. Is yours carbed or FI? Does it come with a 'puter to handle the spark so I can adapt a junk yard 5.7 .  What tranny bolts up?  Details please..
Rob
Also Mancini sells mounts, headers, oil pan, etc.  How much was the charlie's pan?

Matt, THOSE ARE TOO LOW.   Call Sam Davis at TTI and explain that he sent some angled collector adaptors to Brian Tate in MO. last October, because his installer (ME, ROB) Couldn't get the exhaust close to the floor like in those pics that he sent us. AND that you also need a set.    The new pieces were about 12" long, that I cut down to match the length.
Rob
I couldn't get ahold of Sam but talked to another helpful guy at TTI.  He said that on small block e bodies that they have seen this problem and have 6 degree angled collector extensions to fix it. Since I am in Canada I think it will be cheaper and faster if  just take mine (I have 2 sets anyway) and cut off the flange, trim and reweld them. I figure 6 degrees will raise it an 1 1/4" (if my trig is good).  Perhaps I will go 8 degress.  I'm guessing that the elbows will rotate properly to allow the flanges to come face to face again.

Get those FREE 6* angled collector extensions anyway. Very nice pieces to keep.

shelbydogg -

04 5.7 hemi efi
keisler 5sp trans - hydrolic clutch
dana 60 4.10 posi B body rear
TTI headers / 2 1/2" exhaust dynomax

dropout junk yard motor from a 2004 ram 4 x 4 that was damaged in transit.
never had any use so this motor and trans are brand new with no miles from
the factory.  came with the computer and engine wiring harness.
bought this 1 1/2 yrs ago.

had to change out the oil pan to clear the steering linkage and to change the
depth of the stock which was too low. also changed the motor mounts which
TTI will have to match the headers they sell.

this so far is all stock with the efi system except im going with a race
set up for my gas system using a stock gas tank with a welded in sump.
have an after market electric fuel pump -- over kill -- rated at 750hp.
my thinking was to set this up in case I either redo the motor to the 6.1
parts or to even change out to the 6.4 hemi down the road. who knows
maybe even a super charger or turbo - something?

original disk up front with 10" drums in rear. all stock for now untill I road
test her for performance. may change out to after market disk?

stock 14" rallye's goodridge all around for now. may change out to modern
17" or 18" chrome wheels.

5k right now is allot to spend without her being road worthy yet.
ofcoarse once she's per-ring and leaving rubber - with excitement and a
little  it might be easier to do some more spending.

I found one here in St. Louis for $1650. so I have to decide if I can get all of the electronics working before I buy it. Sounds complicated.

so far not too complicated. just need a manaul and time to research all the wires.
need to reroute them with relays.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
one thing to make sure on --- is find out if its a code key alarm car.
if the vehicle was ordered with the anti - thieft option then you must obtain the key!!!
the computer will not let the car start without it!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got lucky with mine not ordered with it. at least in the case of the ID to start thing.
might be a draw back to have the factory alarm?

Im told if you do get it without it, you may be able to purchace a key from the car dealer.
with your proof of a legal purchace and vin #. then you will either need the steering column
with the ignition lock and mobiliser unit, or will need to wire that portion in if converting to
your standard column.

it also may be possible to have the computer flashed and re-programmed.

BEFORE YOU BUY IT - CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL CAR DEALER TO FIND OUT IF THEY WILL
WORK WITH YOU ON THIS ISSUE.

there are companies who sell wire harness for the conversion. S & P wants $995.00

Pason Performance says they are to have it in a couple of months.

mother mopar will sell you a kit with a new manifold and harness - $3800
this is the crate motor set up.

also Mega Squirt has a system using Gm stuff about $1000
im told this system is more user friendly and you will get more out of it
in able to reset it.

cheapest way is to obtain all the wiring from the whole vehicle to mess with it
yourself in re-routing. if you have the time and patience for it!
this way is good if your going stock and dont care about factory settings.

you also will need to go with electric fuel pump with your gas system.

****Also forgot to say when purchasing a drop out from an accident-
just dont trust the yard or person who pulled it! if its from a direct hard front end hit -
allot of metal could be wacked inside like the crank ect.
if its from a roll over - and if they tried to start it after without proper porcedure's
followed, -- then buyer BEWARE -!!! lots of things could be wrong.

these new motors are delicate and mostly made as throw aways after so many miles.

The TTI's(CPPA's) in my Swinger have collectors that hang way too low as well, my only complaint with them really. If they weren't already coated I would cut and re-weld for more clearance.
