CASTINGS ON A833

i found a 4 speed and am not realy sure what it is for if any one noes what they mean they are

It's out of a 1976 (6B) Dodge Main built car. 36 283 should be 6 digits.  The transmission itself was built May 18, 1976.

if it has the long tailshaft it could be a light truck trans also , does it have 1 or 2 places to mount the shifter ?
