Newbie from New York
« on: April 22, 2006 - 08:02:29 PM »
Hey People,
I am a newbie to the site and I know April from a car show last summer in Putnam,NY.
I have to say she came off a little rough to me....the first thing she had to say was my car wasn't a matching numbers  440 6 barrel but a 340, like I didn't know that coming to a car show. Other than that she was pretty cool and had a very nice car. Anyway, I look forward to being a regular on this site and gaining some more knowledge!!!!                     CYA , AL

Al,
Don't worry, her bark is worse than her bite. Stick around, you'll learn to love her like the rest of us. I have to say that or she'll delete my account.

April rough?   :dunno:  Maybe she just treats us Southern Geezers with kindness to keep us from getting overly excited and croaking.............

Welcome to the board HotCuda!  Don't be too rough on April...she's just jealous you've got a 71 cuda!  :roflsmiley:  I'm sure she would gladly take it off your hands...even if it had a /6 in it!

Glad to have you on board...make yourself at home.

Welcome to the site. Many of us just love our cars and enjoy driving them.  My 70 Chally (318 2bbl according to the numbers) will be nothing like it rolled of the factory line, it will be better (and I don't have to worry about grandpa in the RV backing into it)

Welcome to the site, HotCuda! (hopefully your name doesn't imply that it's stolen.) :icon16:  With all joking aside, you have a very nice 'Cuda and even though I love 340's that 440 billboard is more at home on a '71 'Cuda than a 340 one anyways. :grinyes:

Welcome aboard mate. April "seems" lovely, kind and generous. I quoted "seems" because although she and the rest of the board seem kind via words on a board meeting someone in person is a totally different ball game.

The grouchiest person on a board could be the funniest in real life.
A few board members meet though, locals and Carlisle, so they would be the only ones to know for sure.

Still, posts can tell enough, mannerism and what kind of person they are.
It's hard enough with smiles to even gather a tone.....The internet, what a wonderful place!  :chatting: :bananasmi

 (I'm actually really angry right now, but you'd never know)  :roflsmiley: :grinyes: :grinno: :clueless:

Hi HOTCUDA, sorry if you thought I came off as being a little rough.  If anything, I was excited to see a nice Cuda at the show.  Hope all is going well with the car.  Maybe we will bump into eachother again someday.  See ya around.
