Fuel tank wiring
«

Just purchased a 70 440-6 Cuda. It was restored about 3 yrs ago. The tank looks new. The problem Im having is the fuel guage is stuck at "F" (full). It does not move. I hope the problem is a missing Ground strap or clip. Based on Service manual, there is suppose be a ground clip. The diagram is not very good. Anyone have experience with the wiring? Any tips would help. Thanks all!

Maybe somehow the blue wire that goes to the sending unit is shorting to ground? Also, if this is an old original sending unit, it's easy to short the strap to the pick-up tube inside the gas tank.
