Repro door pannels
« on: April 26, 2006 - 09:33:39 AM »
The rear pannels on my 70 convertible have holes cut out for speakers.  I have been told there are several different companies repoping these, but none fit very well.  Who has the best fitting pannels or would I be better off just putting some speakers in.  My pannels are very good if they did not have the holes.

Depends, if you don't mind having speakers in and your not fussed about "correctness" then I'd stick some decent speakers in the doors. I wouldn't go repro, ever. If you were keen, look for some good condition originals around swap meets or eBay.
